Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world  which lies on the east of Annapurna in west Nepal. The region around Mt. Manaslu and its foothills is known as Manaslu region that includes the sub tropical climate of the Himalaya to the arid Trans-Himalaya high pastures bordering Tibet.

 Manaslu circuit trek is one of the most astonishing, challenging and adventurous trek in Nepal.  It was formally opened to foreigners in 1991 as a best trekking destination in Nepal Himalaya. Trekking in Manaslu region offers an exceptional opportunity to explore ethnicity, culture and lifestyle of the local people. The region even presents the harmony of rich cultural legacy and unsurpassed Himalayan splendor with its rich biological diversity. Trekking in the region require a good experience, fit physical condition and preparation as it is one of the most difficult and strenuous type of trekking so one should assess the risk factors and prepare well accordingly. Normally, the trek begins from Budi Gandaki River and ascends to Larkya la pass 5213m with superb glimpse of attractive Himalaya such as Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and other mountains, beautiful varied landscape and flora and fauna.
